Procedure Character:
Additive bath is performed in a bathtub filled with water at a temperature of 35-38°C, to which the prescribed additive is added.
Procedure Course:
The client is in the bath at a temperature of 35-38°C. By combining the effects of the warm bath and aromatherapy, improvement in tissue blood circulation and overall relaxation of the body is achieved. The bath has a pronounced sedative effect. Unless otherwise prescribed, the client should not rinse off after the bath. A rest period is recommended after the bath.
Main Indications:
Relaxation of muscle and nerve tension, conditions after surgeries, injuries, other severe illnesses, chronic diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Main Contraindications:
Acute diseases and general contraindications for hydrotherapy, allergies to the specific additive.
Duration of Procedure:
15 minutes.
What to Bring to the Procedure:
It is advisable to come in a bathrobe.
