Partial Mud Wrap

Procedures

Treatment Classification:
Main treatment, based on medical examination.

Treatment Character:
Peloid wraps are traditionally referred to as warming procedures. Natural peloid is processed into a paste and heated to 42-44°C. The spa worker then prepares the wrap for specific body parts as prescribed by the doctor—back, joints, etc. The mud contains a large number of nutrients, trace elements, minerals, and substances that are easily absorbed by the skin and act as a biological stimulant on the body.

Treatment Course:
The spa worker leads the client into the cabin and asks them to undress. The client then lies down on the table, and the worker applies warm mud to the body according to the doctor's prescription. After 15 minutes, the worker carefully helps the client out of the wrap, the client goes to the shower, and then the worker wraps them in a dry resting wrap for 10 minutes.

Main Indications:
Painful conditions of the back and joints, degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, chronic urinary tract diseases.

Main Contraindications:
Pregnancy, epilepsy, oncological diseases, acute or febrile illnesses, ischemic heart disease, severe hypertension.

Duration of Treatment:
15 minutes + 10 minutes dry wrap.

What to Bring to the Treatment:
It is advisable to come in a bathrobe.
