Treatment Classification: Secondary treatment, over-the-counter

Treatment Character: Cupping is a therapeutic method in which special glass or plastic cups are applied to the skin. These cups create a vacuum that causes the skin and muscles to be gently sucked into the cup. This method is often used for relief from muscle pain, stress, and to improve circulation.

Treatment Course: The client lies on a bed, and trained personnel first applies oil and then places the cups on the reflex points of the back or painful areas.

Main Indications: Muscle and joint pain, improved circulation, chronic back pain, relief from stress and anxiety, migraines, headaches, and neck pain.

Main Contraindications: Febrile conditions, eczema, rashes, skin damage, hematomas, anticoagulant therapy.

Duration of Treatment: 15 minutes

What to Bring to the Treatment: It is advisable to come in a bathrobe.
